這個圖像由不同時代的地圖和手印錯置組合而成,地圖是日治時期(西元1906年)繪製的宜蘭城堡圖,手印是來自清光緒五年間(西元1879年)住在溪北「打那岸社」(今礁溪玉田村)一名叫於拜利本的噶瑪蘭女性與其子女賣田地給漢人所立下的契約。這些歷史文件呈現人們與土地在生活上的緊密關係,似乎可以從其中窺視到時空變異下的時代面貌。

This image is composed of maps and handprints from different eras. The map is a map of Yilan Castle drawn during the Japanese occupation period (AD 1906). A contract made by a Kavalan woman named Yubai Liben and her children to sell their fields to the Han people in Naan She (now Jiaoxi Yutian Village). These historical documents show the close relationship between people and the land in their lives, and it seems that they can peep into the appearance of the times under the variation of time and space.
